Sonu's current research interest lies in the intersection of Mathematics and Biology, i.e., Mathematical Biology or Biomathematics. His work's prominent focal areas include mathematical modeling, dynamical (stability/bifurcation) analysis, and applying optimal control interventions to epidemiological problems.
